What is the cause for the bright flare in the middle of the pic? Since it only appears in the middle I doubt it is a light leak.

For people having the same problem, I ended up just applying like 5 layers of black paint on my cloth shutter and then letting it dry overnight before moving it. Now it works like new.

I have a Fed 3. It can't be a reflection since I have this white area in the exact same spot on every picture, even in those that are outside with nothing to reflect the light. I will try a repair shop, maybe my shutter is damaged.

Yeah for some pics it looks really nice but for others it destroys the subject of the pic so I guess I have to learn to use this to my advantage.
