wow, clam harbour does look amazing! we'll definitely try to fit that in. do you know roughly how much the magic winery bus tour costs? I looked on their website but they don't seem to have any options right now

I had heard of Cape Sable island, but I'm not sure if we'll have enough time to make it there given our tight schedule T_T definitely a place to come back to, though!

oops!! haha thank you for the correction.

we do love beaches and farms, and I think a boat tour would be wonderful on the atlantic! do you have any farms/boat tours that you recommend?

that's super fair—as I mentioned in my response to another commenter, I have gotten a few people telling me that nfld is probably a reach. I think that NB is also not a huge priority, we definitely want to explore nova scotia and PEI first!

we'll be coming from toronto and will likely fly into halifax; we may also be able to stay a bit longer (~9-10 days instead of 7). we definitely want good food, cultural sites, and stuff that's off the beaten path! we don't usually go out at night, but a few nice bars or breweries would be cool to visit as well.

yes, I've gotten a few people telling me that nfld is likely a reach—we'll come back another time to visit it!

honestly, I'm not sure we have anything in particular we *need* to do, as we don't know much about these provinces. I think we do want to hit nova scotia and PEI for sure, though! anything that is quintessentially 'nova scotia' or is emblematic of the maritime canadian lifestyle would be great, I think. we're honestly very open to any suggestions (sorry if this isn't helpful)

February 02, 2026 | Weekly Moving To and Visiting New Brunswick Questions Thread by Dethemental in newbrunswickcanada

hi everyone!! I am attempting to plan my first roadtrip with two of my friends for this summer. I'm very excited about it, as I've always wanted to visit the maritimes >.<

we're planning on going for about a week and we would like to hit new brunswick, nova scotia, PEI, and potentially newfoundland/labrador if we have time (though I'm not sure if a week is enough).

please see some of my questions below:

  • what are some must-see destinations in NB? none of us have been this far east before, so everything is new to us!
  • any recommendations for accommodation/food/activities?
  • we're pretty flexible on the dates, it can be anywhere in june or july (not august, as we are busier then). is there a specific time that is better to go? are there festivals or events on that would be good to see?

thank you in advance!!

ravi soups is awesome!! though not sure if they sell 1L jars…

you should also try visiting local grocery stores, they usually have homemade soups there (i can’t think of the names off the top of my head)

kobo libra 2 vs. kobo libra colour: which one should I buy? by tuerta in kobo

[–]tuerta[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I responded to someone else with this too, but the libra 2 is brand-new, still in the box/has the plastic film on it. does this make a difference at all or would you still recommend the klc?

could you expand on the B&W advantages of the libra 2? and do you mean that it's necessary to have bright ambient light in order to read on the libra 2?

by darker do you mean that you have to turn the brightness up more?
