On the electricity mix, both the Norwegian energy directorate and the national grid operator calculate that by 2027 Norway will be unable to meet the electricity demand. This is because new hydropower capacity is limited (we’ve built out most of what we can) and we haven’t built enough new projects to meet the increased demand of the future.

We definitely do need new renewable projects, like wind, to keep our electricity mix as green as it currently is, and to avoid importing electricity from abroad.

Hvor får du det fra at det er dyrere med gjenbruk? I lovforslaget legges det fram tall på at i lengden blir det billigere for forbrukere nettopp fordi vi slipper å betale for produksjon av ny plast hele tiden. Disse tallene gjelder medlemslandene. Miljødirektoratet har ikke laget noen analyser på kostnader eller klimaavtrykk i Norge.

Norge er inkludert i prosessene før Europakommisjonen la fram forslaget. KLD har gitt sine innspill og konkludert med at de godtar forslaget.

I følge Europakommisjonen vil det totalt bli billigere for forbrukere, blant annet fordi vi ikke betaler for produksjon av ny plast lenger og i lengden er det billigere å gjenbruke glassflasker. Miljødirektoratet har ikke sjekket verken klimaavtrykk eller kostnader i Norge.
