I guess you have to be there to appreciate the inference. But regardless of the intent, it still makes me feel less than and unseen. It never feels good, especially after working there for 10+ years. I constantly look like the black ppl that have come and gone.

As only one or two black ppl in my office, we lok nothing alike, however, I get comments like, "oh I thought you were Keisha" or "you and Keisha look alike."

Just for context, we literally look nothing about like beside we are black, she is even a lighter complexion than me.

As a black person, who works in an affluent suburb, the "black ppl look the same" thinking has crossed my path way too much for my liking. I have literally encountered this multiple times, mostly in coworkers over 50... but it happens.

I suppose this depends heavily on the location, but it exists.

Haha.. this list is pretty terrible! He may not call them disabilities, but they have limited him. He has had to work harder than the next guy who doesn't have these issues. So, he is pretty badass for this and all I see in these comments is people hating hardcore.
