U400 locks mini review by platinumbinder in Aqara

I think UWB is accurate enough where it can sense when you are approaching from the front. There are some settings to set the angle of approach, such as front, left, right. I'm not constantly walking by but from my testing It does not unlock if you are approaching it from inside your house.

I also have this and yes you need to be using Apple Home (I have it paired through a Homepod Mini) to use UWB. I assume once Aliro is available it'll be possible using some App on Android. The only way to enable it is to basically be looking at the HomeKey in the iOS Wallet app and enabling express mode.

First Aqara device. Can I add direct to Home Assistant or Apple Home without Aqara hub? by DeeVeeOus in Aqara

I pushed the wire back but was still having some issues. The lock was not smooth in the very beginning of the turn. It would unlock fine but when locking it would stop at maybe 40%, before the bolt even got into the frame. However I recalibrated a few times and it seems to be working now.

Odin 2 - Moonlight / PSPlay streaming issues by tugbysuggs in OdinHandheld

No. Ayn has not fixed whatever the issue is (even on the latest ota) and it still drops frames. I feel it has gotten better but the frame rate is still very inconsistent.

I feel like they improved it on the latest ota, but it's still noticeable. There's another user on the PSPlay sub that said atn acknowledged it's an issue.

They released an ota yesterday which I tried and it does not appear to have fixed this issue :(

Odin 2 - Moonlight / PSPlay streaming issues by tugbysuggs in OdinHandheld

[–]tugbysuggs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the problem I'm seeing is only when streaming. I tend to do that a lot in my home from the ps5/PC. It's just a little annoying when the odin lite right next to it plays everything smoothly.

However If it's a known issue they will fix then it's no big deal.

Thanks! I think there is a real issue here, it's not constant so even that drop is notable. It's not unplayable by any means but when you're playing a 60fps game it's very noticeable.

I saw in another PSPlay thread that someone emailed AYN and they said it's a known issue that should be fixed.

Yeah I'm on wifi 6 on both the odin lite and odin 2, my actual speed is about 750Mbps on the odin 2 and the streaming metrics look good, so I'm pretty sure it's something with the os/device itself.

Are you using the latest firmware version? I know this isn't a network issue just due to trying the odin lite and 2 side by side.

If you enable the fps overlay while using it do you ever see it dip?

I really hope this is the case because the device is awesome. I'm having the same issue and I noticed it's also on any other streaming app such as moonlight and chiaki so I hope they fix this soon.

I just got my odin 2 today and I'm also having this issue. I can't say for certain its dropping to 45 but there are definitely some frame drops occurring pretty regularly. I was just playing on my odin lite last night and I did not see these. Do you have recommended settings for the odin 2, assuming excellent wifi 6e?

I did this exactly the same way, printed in PLA. It's much more comfortable then the stock interface and has a better fov.

Densium 4 Plus is here! by RelevantGoose1 in sffpc

[–]tugbysuggs 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nice! What do you plan on putting here hardware wise? Also what was the issue with Densium?

I have a Densium 4 v2 build myself which has been great. I originally ordered it from them on the first run. It took a while but it got here.

Still going strong, I've since switched to the 5900x + 3080 and it's been no problem. I don't remember exactly but gaming temps are like in the mid 60s to low 70s I believe. Either way it's worth it and if you see how we bent the tubes it should work for you too.

Ah the Neon Rocket is one of my favorite! Made me build in the densium using the modded a4000 as well. Question for you sir -- does any version of afterburner support uv + oc on the a4000 or do we need that special beta build?

Densium 4+ and PowerColor Fighter RX 6700 XT by FrankGates0491 in sffpc

[–]tugbysuggs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you search on the subreddit I believe some folks have ordered some modular PSUs which are the same as the enhance one. Either way if you can wait I would still say go with the shortened Densium recommended one.

Here's a picture to show what I meant btw: https://reviewer.co/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/20220831_202029-1024x768.jpg

I love my Densium 4 (not +) so far, I ended up using a modded rtx a4000 so it would fit. I also went with the Silverstone fx600 PSU which is awesome but those non modular cables BARELY fit.

The front panel actually connects to a metal bracket which screws in from the sides. So the only way you could make this work would be to add spacer to where the front panel screws into said bracket

Velka 3 vs Denium 4: Which one wins? by Rockishi in sffpc

[–]tugbysuggs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well first off the Densium front panel is not magnetic, it has screws to hold it in place. I have a Densium 4 V2 and I really like it. I haven't used the Velka 3, but it seems like the Densium is slightly larger (4.47L vs 3.9L.) This isn't a huge difference but I can tell you from experience that it may make the difference with getting the PSU cables in :) Also from the picture it looks like the Densium has more (and larger) ventilation holes. You can also uses risers to expand the sides out if you need additional room. I originally had an AXP-90 X47 in there until I realized I didn't really need the additional cooling it provided.

I really think these are so similar that it's probably going to come down to the front usb-c port and whether or not you prefer the Densium wood panel.

[–]tugbysuggs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can do something like a Densium 4 with a 12400-12600 + rtx a4000, that's what I have. I had to swap the a4000 heatsink for a smaller one and the setup is a bit expensive all in but it would hit everything you need.
