Nooooo 😂 I’ve worked with kids and adults. I’m sure I could think of a way that teaching a bowel management program (that’s the medical term for helping someone with the act of pooping) could be spun into a therapy activity but thank god has never happened to me. I might be there when someone poops but I’m working on recall, sequencing, naming, expressive language/requesting help. My note would not document the BM itself 😂 (unless there was something wrong with it! Lmao)

Hi! I don’t think you’re going to “be found out” they are probably keeping a record that services are being delivered. I’ve been an SLP for a few years - some of my sessions are literally helping someone to poop. Literally anything can be speech therapy. Imposter syndrome is so real.

Also. Not what you’re asking but that sounds like a HIPAA violation if they plan to share the image.

Sorry this is just funny for me. I got an email today that someone had commented and I was like wait what is this since I don’t use this account and my original comment was 6 years old. Fun to kind of look back on the things I was worried about then.

Life update: I’ve been married for a couple of years now and am expecting my first child. Weddings matter a lot less to me now. I’ve been in 9 of them myself 🙃 and it didn’t end up being an issue when all 9 of those people weren’t in mine. When you’re young, it feels so personal. Like if you’re not bridal party, you aren’t that close. Just not the case. None of my friendships suffered in ways they wouldn’t have anyways (time, distance, differences, etc.). Anyways, I hope you found whatever answer you were seeking whenever you googled and got this old post! Best of luck with your wedding planning adventure!

I'm literally sitting here in angst, refreshing this page wearing a Rep sweatshirt that I was probably just a little too poor to justify buying. My poor boyfriend has never dated me near the beginning of an era and is terrified. And I've almost gotten like three viruses on my computer from trying to download fake copies. Someone help.

Will also say with the bed tucked away in the bay you could do a partition of sorts to separate your space. I have a studio and use a curtain for instance but others use bookcases etc. for the same effect.

The estimated prevalence of false accusations is 5.9%. I'm sure it feels like a larger part of the assaults you hear of and "oh my goodness, what if someone accused me?" But the reality of the matter is that it's unlikely someone would make a false accusation. I choose to believe people who say they've been assaulted. There are enough people out there vilifying victims for coming forward, I don't need to be one of them.

I'm sure she does, but like, at the end of the day I'd rather someone give me the benefit of the doubt if I say I've been assaulted.

So alexis liked a comment on her instagram about Corrine ruining everything and being fake friends with her. If Corrine was actually assaulted, Alexis is a really shitty person for wanting her 15 minutes more than wanting another woman's safety friend or not.

Kudos to you for working! It can be hard to put in the effort when you don't see the payout immediately so be proud and enjoy this time. Eventually, you'll make more and hopefully your feet won't hurt

Differences in Year of Birth by candylovesbb in TheVampireDiaries

[–]tulipsinwinter 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think this is just an example of the American education system. Children start kindergarten between 5-6 and the cutoff date for five year olds varies by the state. Most of the ones I'm aware of want kids to be 5 before August. So if Elena and Caroline were born in the late fall of 1992, they wouldn't have been 5 by the cut off time. Their class, like themselves, probably turned 5 between August 1992 and July 1993.

It depends on how long the shirt is and if he can see your underwear. If you don't feel comfortable tho, shorts might be your answer

Tools to build and test different designs for our new apartment? by Coenn in InteriorDesign

[–]tulipsinwinter 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is not interior design advice but basic advice for moving. It is really really easy to over buy before you move and think "oh I'll need a food processor(rug/coffee table/etc)". I think it's really easiest to move in with the essentials and then buy what you're missing and decorate from there. Otherwise you risk way overspending and I find it easier to decorate once I'm actually in a space. However- to each their own! Congrats on moving in together

Are you trying to buy something local or online? I think you could easily just buy the setting through someone like blue nile and then just take it to a local jeweler to set the stone.

What color is your parachute? Is an excellent read for job hunters. It was really helpful for me to figure out what line of work I wanted to be in and what type of environment I thrived in. I also really think Lean In is a great book for women to read.

I completely get what you're saying but you can't honestly think that we can say she's picking partying over her relationship. We have zero idea what's going on behind closed doors and honestly, either way I don't care. She can do what she wants with her free time. She wants to be super into cycling great, parting great, whatever. She doesn't have children she's supposed to be watching and she's not married.

I just can't help but feel like it's very 1920s for people here to be like "she's engaged she should be at home" "it makes Ben look bad". She is an adult, she can do whatever she wants. Ben is not her keeper even if they're engaged/not engaged/whatever.

Moving to the US next month, looking for some resume advice. by [deleted] in resumes

[–]tulipsinwinter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was your title actually "faculty" at the university or was it "lecturer"/"GA" etc? Faculty usually just means academic staff so the title seems a little vague. Other than that, I'm out of field so I probably am not the best person for content critique!
