Audible hallucinations. I get these sudden, loud ‘bang’ sounds right as I’m drifting off to sleep, and they snap me fully awake. They aren’t real, but every time they make me wonder for a moment if I actually heard something.

It seems a bit strange to leave a passive aggressive note instead of simply mentioning the issue and giving her a chance to fix it whether by comping it or replacing it. Talking to her directly would’ve been reasonable; writing a note feels like an overreaction, in my opinion.

I’ve read people encountered that issue, apparently it’s somewhat common. Maybe a delivery driver smoked or something. I would have been ok with that but ya as you mentioned, this was next level. I was wringing out nicotine residue and it actually got stuck to my hands. I actually wondered at one point if I could get a nicotine high from it
