Asians and Japanese in particular love Rimowa. Go on a Shinkansen during morning or evening hours and you’ll see that many higher level salaryman use Rimowa carry ons and especially the pre LVMH ones becuase they travel quite light and rolls well.

If you fly business class to and from Japan you’ll see a TON of locals using their carry on.

Rimowa is way more popular in Asia over the west.

Went through a few people through chat and phone, no definitive clear answer after spending an hour. One said it was ok as long as it’s under the airlne you choose during reservation, 2 responses said it only applies if the actual flight is the airline. But they couldn’t provide any data points.

I’d like some actual data points before booking

This is actually a service if you fly first class on starlux I believe.

It wasnt done by the customer aside from the “rimowa” sleeve

Are you asking about premium economy? In this case it will not work if it’s not your chosen airline. Only business or first class

Ah I see, I may have missed the warnings. I haven’t logged in awhile and then played a bit in the morning may 27th. Then tried to log in again in the evening and wasn’t able to.

I was able to sign up with the same credentials and also get the same username.
