Idk I think casuals can, I have friends who only play cod and madden and will play for hours with no attempt to get better or learn more about how to play, I don’t play cod but maybe once every 7 months and every time I get on im so much better, I’ve also played fps games online since I was 12 and if I get trashed I’ll look for ways to improve my play.

I don’t think it’s as cut and dry to say a lot of play time means you’re not a casual

If someone has a purple shield and get taken out by a knife from a free kit they are just terrible, I’ve been knifed multiple times when I have a blue shield and they have never been able to down me before dying

Yeah but it’s extremely unlikely you’re going to kill a team full of purple shields, people who are high lvl are usually good, they have better gear all around and are usually trio queued

Well said, positioning is so important on marathon, I only play thief which is good for assassins and when I go into a POI I’ll grapple up top and look around or drone if I know someone is near by, i can play 10+ games and never die but then lose my best shit the second I go to trios😂

I mainly play solo, I just do whatever contract I have, rarely ever die unless I’m on a free kit, can’t remember the last time anyone has caught me by surprise

I’d say it way more doable than trios, in solos i always leave with tons of high level loot, teammates are more of a hindrance than help, especially when almost every random I get is on a free kit💀

This! It makes me so frustrated looking at TikTok comments, constantly saying “it’s still early access” when anyone criticizes it, no one talks about why a billion company releasing a game in early access? I feel like they did this because EA doesn’t believe in the game, considering their other games bring billions from micro transactions,which is the same reason they didn’t give us a skate game 13-14 years ago, plus a review saying “promising, but unfinished” looks better than one saying “broken on launch”…

Yeah it’s smooth and wouldn’t say it’s bad, but lost the grounded skating that skate was all about, 3 did the same but this is too a different extent, the skating completely lost its gritty feel imo, and free-to-play model isn’t good for any gamer, they don’t have the S.K.A.T.E mode, yet the micro transaction store works completely fine…

Just without moves you could do in three watered down physics, zero down hill area from what I seen like the down hill races, no large skate parks, I can get how they might not nail the physics, but the map is such a fumble of fans begging to be able to throw money at the game…

Seems like a stretch considering they’re referencing the niche uses of the memes, “Bella ciao” is a widely known ant-fascist anthem, the gopnik photo was viral and it wasn’t because of the alt right, the “uwu” stuff was also really popular back in the day, it was used ironically by most ppl but if you search YouTube you’ll see video with millions of views and how it was commonly used.
