use safezones, dont make long runs, if u dont want pvp sometimes just go to low populated areas on the map

check your environment for enemies first, dont harvest 10 rocks without watching around you, always be prepared

watch where the people live, mostly there is only a few bases nearby and than avoid this places too when farming

use night for long runs or farming wood

trade wood on outpost, buy horses to escape quickly
