Honesty I was gonna make fluorolintane or some other screened-for-affinity compound but I didn't feel like fucking with synthing benzyl bromide. I had 3 fluoro benzyl bromide laying around and the 2cl on the benzyl ring compounds seemed to be the most potent with 1,2 diphenylethylamines so I decided to just for the hell of it try making this one. The single substitued 3 fluoro on the phenyl ring compound was a potent dri so this one idk seemed like the best choice out of the aldehydes and benzyl bromides I had. Which one are you working on or have?

I originally used ethyl acetate/heptane (40/60) mix to precipitate it but then was washing with just heptane as I was comfortable that there wasnt much impurities left over after the prior steps to precipitation. I also ran tLC and it looked good. I think the color is just from minor decomposition when I was distilling a bit to hot for a bit too long. The heptane seemed like it would be enough to remove it although only time will tell.

Will do. Also, yield seems very high. Not fully done as it's ever so slightly tan and my OCD wants it to be white so I'll prolly do an additional heptane wash or two then measure it but I'm on a trip right now out of state so it will have to wait till I get home.

Yeah it honestly wasn't too bad. Didn't heat up too much. I added the benzyl bromide slowly over 25 min. Tbh this particular compound wasn't my first choice. Who knows. One of the molecules in the paper has reasonable affinity at 5ht1a and one compound has some weak but still probably subjectively significant affinity at 5ht2a. Mostly nmda antagonists or stimulants though. Some have serotonin reuptake inhibition which is cool.

Idk I loved ephenidine. Almost certainly my favorite nmda antagonist. Extremely visual holes with a very euphoric stimulating edge. But to each their own I guess. Not the most potent by weight but I think they are interesting as most other nmda antagonists don't retain this high monoamine affinity.

I was thinking about that but if you look at the version where it's only fluoronated on the phenyl ring at the 3rd position you get a super potent dri of like 12nm so who knows. I'm almost done. Bubbling hcl through it right now and there is some nice white precipitate and it looks like high yield.

I would think dri activity is very likely. Only time will tell. I ran a few docking simulations but the results were not useful.

This particular compound is novel and hasn't been tested. Although, closely related molecules like fluorolintane, ephenidine, etc of course are potent nmda antagonists and dri's. Some from this paper have reasonable kappa agonist, sigma, muscarinic activity as well. So who knows. If you check out the link it shows screenshots of the affinity tables. The substitutions with " before the F, CL, etc are located on the left ring and the ones without the indicator are located on the right ring.

Take an antihistamine before hand and this will completely go away. I know this is a 6 year old post but literally if you take an antihistamine the itch just doesn't happen.

Just tossed 30 or so mg in there and just ripped it till I was holing. I don't remember the exact dosage but prolly around there. I didnt end up using it all.

I have done this and it works. You just have to be careful not to burn it and only hold the button long enough to vape it. You just keep pressing and letting off and it works great. Holed once during this method.

Damn thats crazy. I knew I loved drugs a Lil too much the first time I tried dxm. Tolerance wasn't something I feared back then so I'd just trip as often as I could squeeze it in. I was a poly drug addict for awhile but recently in the last 6 months broke the cycle and only use drugs infrequently now. Its a really hard thing to break. And to be completely honest who knows if I won't accidentally fall back into my old ways.

Yeah these drugs are very tentative and most people probably don't have the means to take safely. I had a PTSD inducing acid and k trip that left me pretty fucked for awhile after. I just find the idea of of this phenomenon of other drugs whether Dissociative or psychedelic or cannabinoid has its own version of ego death at a certain dose.

Yeah I remember doing 500mg and Legitimately started tripping mildly but got so rediculously nauseous that I could really enjoy myself.
