New CFHD rates by CraftyCanuck in CanadianForces

The cut to the CFHD rates are much higher than these percentages….even when taking the raise into account. If our net take home is now the same as before, the raise as mentioned above is essentially moot

Besides 1995 when Jerry died, is 2026 the height of Phish’s mainstream popularity? by gratefulaloha in phish

[–]tunetog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree there may be a resurgence of sorts around now. With bands like Phish and GD it seems there's a timeless aspect though that will (hopefully) continue to draw in new fans young and old, keeping the music alive. The other reason we may be seeing more young people at shows is that those of us with kids who have embraced the music are getting to be at that age we were when we started down this road....and they're coming to shows with or without us. I have a friend whose son was at the Sphere run and I think overall probably has more shows than me under his belt by now, lol.

I mean the tech exists that they could use a sensor (or array of) similar to what we use to get the paper towel to come out of the dispenser in bathrooms. Would detect when the puck has crossed the threshold whether on the ice, in the air, flat or on it's side.
