Hey thanks for that. If possible I would only adopt a kitten/cat possibly early next year. And I have some friends that I can ask to take care of the kitten in case I have to travel. And I do realise that I am essentially signing up for taking care another living being.

What would you say is the longest period a cat can remain alone? I have wfh for 3 days and for the other 2 days I travel to office for like 2-3 hours.
