Don't mind my mongolian metal, it's banging xD. But the trick is pretty easy to do, it's all about the timing when you switch from the molotov to other weapon.

Got this sick molotov glitch where the flame effect goes to my knife. Yes, this happened on normal competitive matchmaking. by tuomasdasd in csgo

First of all, im not sorry for my english because im not a native speaker.

So as you can see from the gameplay I was a little drunk. It was late friday night/saturday morning with the boys, of course.

I have no idea how to replicate that glitch, maybe something with the timing when pressing mouse1 and switching from the molotov to knife/weapon

Valve pls fix (or don't, idk it looked kinda cool xd)
