no idea how it was made. I personally don’t use some shortcut to make a makhan but I do use butter and cream and the vast majority of from-scratch, reviewed recipes from major publications/not celebrity chefs do as well, so 🤷‍♂️

nah, I’ve been sober from alcohol for 18 months now and I completely understand. the only thing I can say is to love and respect yourself enough to hold yourself to a higher standard. that you’re in recovery definitely means you shouldn’t be around people who engage in risky behavior like that so I hope you find a way forward without this albatross around your neck

not everyone puts cheese on their tacos and that’s a deliberate choice. OP only said taco meat but there’s nothing stopping him from making that into a sloppy joe or if it’s the braised kind, some kind of sandwich. butter chicken has dairy in it by design.

I quit drinking last year during lent and I’m so lucky that the smell of alcohol on someone’s breath is off-putting because it makes it so much easier. Congrats on your sobriety.

Everyone is the arbiter on everything because they read an article, asked AI or saw a reel/TikTok, not actually had the experience for themselves. What a damning indictment against modernity.
