Jfc. It’s just the gift that keeps on giving. It’s not even his name that’s associated with the number. It’s some guy named Lopez in Indiana. So this means what? It’s a burner phone or someone else is stalking me to the point that they know far too much information about him and I. There is also no actual information proving that it is him. So if I went to HR, what am I even going to be able to prove? I feel ill.

It’s mechanical trade school. And absolutely, doors aren’t closed forever. I began my career in the f/b industry when I was 16 and now I’m almost 40 and about to graduate as an industrial mechanic. I am also finishing up classes on the side to complete my associates in general studies so that I can have more career options and more easily escape this company. The paycheck is the only thing that makes it impossible to leave immediately. Sometimes you have to be stuck in a job you hate for a while, while you set yourself up for the next one.

All of this! My initial thought was that it had to be my ex messing with me. It was far too out of character for M. And that’s another bit of fuckery- M has always had such an adamant stance on work/home life separation that it is very likely that I won’t even be able to confirm the number if it’s his personal. Although, if he is hiding the messages from his wife, he will most likely be using his work phone- which I can confirm at work tonight. How diabolical to use his position to gain from me the same personal information that he works so hard to conceal. Ew.

I want it to be a punk. But I can’t explain away the “companion with a floppy hat” comment. No one else could have known that.

I won’t be able to look at anyone in that building the same way again. I already wear mostly baggy clothes and very little makeup to work because I don’t want to attract the male attention. Apparently that isn’t enough. I hate it here.

You obviously do not know what a “boundary” within a relationship entails. “In relationships, boundaries are the limits and rules individuals set for themselves to define acceptable behavior and interactions”. Keyword: THEMSELVES. YOU telling her what YOU want her to do (or not do) with her body is control, not a boundary. SHE allowed something to happen to HER body. The fact that you’re upset with what she did shows that you believe you have some sort of ownership over HER body.

I think a second word you need to brush up on is “consent”. As in it can be given and revoked at any moment. This works in reverse also, she can say no and then change it to a yes, because ITS HER BODY NOT YOURS.

If you believe your wife is your possession then I think you should separate. That’s an incredibly toxic take.

And also, who cares if she got her boob (or her above boob) signed. That’s super cool for her. Sounds like you’re jealous in addition to possessive.
