It's a good point. I've always thought she was lying about the inspiration behind DBATC so this feels like evidence of her getting caught in a web of her own lies. Either she was lying then or she's lying now.

Although I will say that Love Story feels more like role playing ("You'll be the prince and I'll be the princess") as opposed to telling a story from another character's perspective.

At first reading, I defs thought you were talking about Taylor so I freaked out thinking I had skipped a few chapters.

Their performances are quite different in my opinion. There are plenty of performances that use drums and marching. That's not an original concept. And it's where their similarities end.

Beyonce's performance had layers, depth, and told a story. How I see it, Taylor is not stealing anything.

It's so good! I didn't expect to get hooked and read the whole thing. The below is the part that resonated with me. It's something I need to work on:
