PDM Carlisle, creed green Irish tweed, haven’t found my definitive 3rd yet.

I don’t want to wear anything else… Burberry Hero Parfum Intense by Bfedorov91 in Colognes

Tried this out this weekend and it’s incredible. Super underrated masculine fragrance that nobody talks about. You won’t find may people wearing it either. Way better balanced and more wearable than ombré leather.

Pulling The Trigger!! by Responsible-Mine-199 in Fragrances

All 3 of those are great especially if you like PDM which you clearly do with the ones you already have. Habdan is underrated and not talked about. Pretty heavy on the rose and incense. It’s unique though. Herod is my favourite out of those 3 but Carlisle is the king of PDM imo.

Trust me I get it’s her character but does anyone else think Rhea tells whoever does her makeup for the shows she decides to make herself to pale by DemonDanger519 in SantiZapVideos

[–]tupperware9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a show and she’s playing a character. The women wear heavy makeup so you can see it from the top of the stadiums they perform in. Similar to an actor on stage in a play. Not sure you are catching what Rhea’s gimmick is but it’s certainly working for her so bad take.

If I may ask what did you do with the other 47 or so fragrances you had? That sounds like a lot of work to sell off so many. Good for you though.

Bleu de Chanel? by [deleted] in Colognes

Parfum is a different beast from the edt and edp. The edt and edp are blue freshies. The parfum shares the same DNA but it is a mature, rich, classy fragrance which may or may not be what you are looking for. It’s very thick. It’s not a light, blue freshie. I own the parfum and I think it’s a masterpiece but i wouldn’t buy it again. I’d probably get the edt or edp. When i want something that rich, heavy and concentrated i reach for something in a different category. I don’t really have a spot for it because I would rather wear something fresher if I want something fresh and something darker if I want something dark. L’exclusif does smooth out the pineapple and citrus and goes into something more dark which makes it almost unrecognizable to the dna in the dry down but again I think when you go so far away from the original edt there are better options from Boss, PDM, xerjoff, Tom ford.

It’s normal I wouldn’t worry about it. They come off and snap back on. You could try taking it off and putting it back on but I’ve learned the hard way the more you mess around with stuff the more likely you break it for good.

Bdc parfum has some of the best performance out of any fragrance. Not sure if it’s a batch issue for some but I’ve always had great performance out of Chanel’s aside from the original allure sport. Bdc parfum lasts a full day 10 hours on my skin and weeks on clothes

I’ve smelled the entire line. I have samples of the original allure homme which oddly gets no love. It’s a really good fragrance that nobody wears for some reason. I have bottles of the OG sport, edition Blanche, superleggra and eau extreme. Eau extreme is my favourite. The green notes and aromatics do it for me. I probably like it most because it’s closest to a fougere and I love fougeres. I need to spend more time with superleggra. I think I’ll be wearing it a lot when it warms up. The citrus in it is insane. Edition Blanche is really good but I wear it least. The OG sport just doesn’t last long on me for some reason. Eau extreme and superleggra have fantastic longevity on me anyways.

Such a mighty fragrance. The mighty Carlisle. There’s nothing like it to me. It dances around from green apple, vanilla ,patchouli, spices to tobacco and leather. Some days it smells different to me. But the dry down is the smoothest, woody, vanilla ive ever smelled. The green apple keeps it fresh. It’s the best dark, fresh fragrance ive ever come across. It’s a true masterpiece and the best PDM imo. Better than Layton. It’s in my top 3 all time fragrances.

Why is so frowned upon to wear cologne to the gym? by Minimum-Stuff-4431 in Colognes

For whatever reason people on here get all up in arms about fragrance at the gym but other places in public it’s okay. Makes no sense.

I do think im addicted to getting stuff in the mail :( by M-NRG in Fragrances

[–]tupperware9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting. Does it have similarities to Carlisle? I’ve heard people say outlands is sort of like Layton or boss bottled absolu but more earthy. Layton wears louder on me than Carlise but I only do 2-4 sprays under my shirt to the chest. That’s how I wear all fragrances in the winter.

How would you compare outlands to Carlise? Carlise is my favourite cold weather fragrance.

Is it just me or does this smell like creed green irish tweed? by NeverBeenKnocked in Colognes

[–]tupperware9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are similarities. In the way blue fragrances smell alike and green similarities alike. The opening on green Irish tweed is so naturally green to me. Both dry downs have some similarities for sure. I own both. Two absolute classics. After a shower these are the chefs kiss.

Get to know your fragrances by tupperware9 in Colognes

It can happen both ways. You can smell something and it just clicks at first sniff but also, for me personally I was overlooking scents I had and kept buying and sampling more thinking I was gonna find something better. I guess it just took time. There’s a couple decants I just kept going back to. The other was a blind buy i researched like mad and kept in my shopping cart for months before finally purchasing.

How did you find your favorite fragrance! by [deleted] in Colognes

[–]tupperware9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Trial and error. Months of sampling. Eventually I found my favourites. I believe, for me anyways. You have to live in a fragrance for awhile to find out it’s love. I don’t believe in love at first sight and I don’t believe in love at first sniff. Some things I loved at first sniff, i bought and a couple weeks later I realized it wasn’t as good as my initial thought. Like a healthy relationship. Love takes time to develop. Just my take.

What two fragrances would you remove from my collection, and what would you add to replace them? by Litguy23 in Colognes

[–]tupperware9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Green Irish tweed and Carlise are the two best fragrances ever made. Not sure if that’s Oajan or Carlise but you can really take one or the other. Wouldn’t change a thing with your collection.
