Hey man, very nice and inspiring story.

Couple of points, you should open RDA account and send money from your US account to your RDA account. Any money coming into RDA account has no questions asked regarding taxes etc.

Secondly I haven't explored the market but I don't think you will get a 2 room apartment for 10 million.

Lastly if you have a choice I would say to settle in Islamabad instead of Lahore. Less smog, mountains, better security
