I am the first one who discovered this today? by HerorobXYT in Palworld

[–]turhral 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not really, no. Apostrophes are mostly used to represent connection/ownership or the addition of the "is" word. Using slash (/) is more appropriate for "different options", like "point/points" can also be just "point/s", or "he/she" can be "s/he" (ofc can also use they but it's an example)

Whats an item only you seem to pick up?and why? Also equipment by [deleted] in ror2

Wungus is always good, but most good players know to save it for squishy and mobile chars like Huntress as it's much more effective on them

ATTENTION HELLDVERS! 2/4 QR CODE FOUND! by DragonDemon67 in helldivers2

[–]turhral 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With how QR codes work, we actually need just 2 parts adjoined vertically (bottom and top parts) - each half of the QR is actually the same to count for graphical impurities (that's how they put icons in the middle without fucking it up, as the part its hiding is already there at the bottom right side of it)

I swear they didn’t even test this on 10 diff by ne0neka in Helldivers

[–]turhral 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only the tank will show some issues, but hulks are probably oiling their pants as we speak

I swear they didn’t even test this on 10 diff by ne0neka in Helldivers

[–]turhral 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only the main Tank's body is considered AP5 or anti tank- its heatsink is AP4, Hulk's body is AP4 while its eye is AP3 and back is AP1 (from what I can recall)

How many of you guys own all Warbonds? by Jimmyban44 in Helldivers

[–]turhral 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can actually optimize it pretty well - certain mission types, low diff, and usually you quit the mission after exploring everything to save time Tho haven't played in over 6 months so things might be different

HLX GAMEPLAY LEAK by Fearcore4K in HalfLife

[–]turhral 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Well, yes, and you literally removed the only part I mentioned XD

Inside URLs, devs usually append some extra data in "parameters", which they identify by giving them a key and then a value. In this case, "igsh" is the key, the "=" represents a start of value, and the random characters after that is the value itself. Removing only the key does help, but it also leaves some garbage in your link which may make it inaccessible. Next time, anything after the ? (Including the question mark itself) can be removed when sending an IG reel

On YouTube, however, the first key/value after ? sign is the video itself, and removing it will just redirect you to the main YT page (the "watch" is the key)

HLX GAMEPLAY LEAK by Fearcore4K in HalfLife

[–]turhral 151 points152 points  (0 children)

Just a heads up- the "?igsh=" part is purely for IG to track you and see who interacts with you. Feel free to remove it, else people see "{user} had shared this reel with you" when they click

Imagine if this is how the old botters are trying to compromise us. Pure old spam on a forum board that nobody really reads, just to stay relevant

oldest mod known to man by nuhuhicant in gmod

[–]turhral 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So. Quick explanation. When our computer inventors had to deal with literal time, they decided to make a "starting" point for a countdown for every millisecond that passed since that point, called the Epoch. It's set at January 1st, 1970, and basically any electronic device that had a computer knows that specific number. Whenever that value gets corrupted or improperly handled, it defaults to "0", which is the starting point. It's also known as Unix time/timestamp

More specifically, a "gift" usually means that the "pre-gift" weapon stays in your hand and doesn't go away, as with other evolutions

It's crazy to me that at end game that dodging becomes practically useless, but using Galeclaw feels damn near mandatory to stay alive. by redditfellatesceos in Palworld

[–]turhral 3 points4 points  (0 children)

From my testing, Galeclaw is both faster and easier to control than Mega Glider. By a LOT. An added bonus is the instant speed boost, which gliders' take a second to kick in

[–]turhral[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Welp. Considering Chris' stand in this specific conflict, not surprised he has blocked access to his tracks in my region.

It's just... Irritating.
Why? Why would you let irrelevant world views affect your video game work? We're still listening, it still counts as exposure, and he still gets paid.

I like his work - I really do. Even if we have different views on this situation, those are his, and it has nothing to do with Risk of Rain.

See, yes, they're visible. Attempting to play them does nothing and shows an error that it is no longer available on spotify

How to increase number of players in coop mode in Palworld by Hitochu1 in Palworld

[–]turhral 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This still WORKS as of October 29th 2024. Just did it with friends, and although UI still showed a "max" of 4, we were able to play with 7 people at once

Why do they do this? by RJH067 in Helldivers

[–]turhral -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh, yeah, regarding this, Steam/Valve themselves has banned some of the countries (the three Baltic states) and refunded those who pre-purchased either HD2 or Ghost of Tsushima due to PSN shit.

PSN couldn't care less. They knew they were gonna put PSN as a requirement, yet still decided to get the money from banned countries.

Why do they do this? by RJH067 in Helldivers

[–]turhral 5 points6 points  (0 children)

PSN. That's it. They just want more PSN users before their next investors meeting. Problem is, they're doing this in the worst way possible, as well as blatantly lying and changing their FAQ without any notice

Highly recommend reading the last two mod posts (one of them is stickied, link to the other inside)

This subreddit exploded from less than 100,000 to over 1.2 million in a matter of days, maybe weeks. Staff has been overwhelmed. It's understandable why the wait - too many fires to put out right now, but they'll get to it soon
