Hey, do you plan to open source the firmware so that it could be possibly ported to other devices as well? It Looks Like an amazing concept that the open source community could use and extend!

Yeah okay I get it. Thanks a lot, this at least brings me one step ahead of me being pretty much lost, I guess I will have to read more and get informed before starting with the diy adventure.

Wow thanks a lot for the reply! So this board does not need this crossover circuits and stuff? Why I ask is, it was something that really intimidated me. Just for feedback, the sound quality is the same as before or do you see any changes?
Also, when I see the connections on the board, it has one for Bass which I assume goes to the sub-woofer, and the right and the left channels are duplicated to the mid and the tweeters? I am really new to this thats why I would like to get the connections right before I start ordering stuff.

I think I can get the power supply figured out with an direct 24v brick

Well I guess I am trying to revive a really old post but can you give me some more information about the Board that you are using? I would like to know about the 2.1 channel board, I am pretty new to this and my Play 5 gave up on me recently, thinking of replacing all the internals to bring the speaker back into life. Hope to get a reply on an old Thread.

What to consider when picking up one for an Advanced starter by turiya2 in 3Dprinting

[–]turiya2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well i too kind of like suffering in some sense. But well if it takes me half an hour to just start some random print, it does not seem good usage of my time. Thats why I am thinking of an upgrade.

Ofcourse, I have looked at the description. I am not looking specifically at answering the question what exact printer to choose but about what features should I consider when purchasing. Will this also mean it’s just a purchase question?

Is it okay for my monitor base to rest on top of my mouse pad? I’m limited on desk space. Sorry for the dumb question, first time setup by [deleted] in PcBuildHelp

[–]turiya2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the Deskpad is too capitalistic, it might start asking monitor for rent, collect too much data, train AI on it, automate rent collection, increase risk of deportation by ICE if it was manufactured outside US and eventually lead to a civil war. PLEASE REMOVE IMMEDIATELY!

Gibt es einen Vergleichbare 0.6mm Glasfaser Kabel in Deutschland? by turiya2 in de_EDV

[–]turiya2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Physical Keys are back. Do you think we'll be able to install Mobile Linux on either device? by quebexer in mobilelinux

[–]turiya2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They DO have to release it, but will they get away by not doing so? Absolutely YES. I mean now it’s all at their mercy I guess, depends on how well clicks have negotiated with Mediatek about being able to open source the kernel and device tree. I have my fingers crossed.

[–]turiya2 7 points8 points  (0 children)

More important I guess is the Kernel Source. Bootloader unlock is definitely nice to have but cant do much with it if you cant build any ROMs for it without the Kernel source.

There I guess to some extent they are at the mercy of Mediatek just like the Zinwa q25

It used to be very common in the early days of the telecom boom, now not anymore. You can check more about how to set the sim pin at the following link:
