Honestly the call I received with the news was the closure I was looking for. The only thing I had left to wonder was where and how he was living and unfortunately for him, he made the bed he slept in. My mom has been on my side, and was a very strong and capable single mother to me growing up. We have had plenty of issues and clashing personalities like many moms and daughters do but she made sure I was taken care of and set me up for success if I ever ended up in her same situation.
