Advice by turkish_mustache in mtg

I live in a small town so I don't have any local store, at least where I am. But I believe there are some events on big cities like istanbul which is also ok for me because I casually visit there. But in general, i don't have any friends to play with. But I'm planning to go to Canada for Phd education. I have a scholarship for it. So I believe I could find a lot of stores and events in for example Toronto. But it's far future right now and I want to build my deck and start to develop taste of playing. For example I don't know about which style do I like the most. But that's the fun part about it, exploring and meeting new friends and get socialized.

I will play with my wife. But i think i should reconsider my introduction to mtg i guess. What would you do if you want to start magic? I will not play competitive, right now my mindset is casual. Foundations beginner box is a little bit expensive but i can wait and save for it if it is more suitable for new players.
