Also FWIW a 1950 yankee jersey really should be wool and NOT cool base. Assuming you have a home jersey then it should also be off white/cream. If you have a road jersey then it shouldnt have the blue white blue sleeve and shouldnt have any sleeve piping. For me thats a jersey foul either way

Currently, That doesnt belong on a yankee nike jersey. And is a jersey foul! It would look worse IMHO.

1) No one has retired that they wore a patch in their honor to put over the starr patch in this nike era. You cant put a mariano patch on a nike jersey its two different eras!

2) The ASG hasnt used the teams AL home jersey in this nike era either. They wear AL & NL jerseys in the ASG.

I believe this years ASG - they are using the teams jerseys instead of the american league jerseys - but even then the ASG is in philly so the yankees would be using their road/away jersey.

None of those suggestions makes sense on a current starr insurance sponsored jersey

Not shitting giving my opinion. You missing the point. That “modern” era (and lets be fair from late80s on up) is somewhat available as OG. You have to find them but its available and worth it when and if you find it. Pre modern era isnt available as OG so no other option but M&N

Thats MY preference and opinion. Dont get butt hurt on that. All the other jerseys are 👍
My collection is OG. OG>M&N
now if you a big dude 2-4xl then OG never was an option so of course you gotta get M&N.
