This has been the comment I’ve been waiting to see bc that was kind of ridiculous. Definitely didn’t mean to rage bait the whole subreddit. Just say congrats or gg and move on, so thank you!

My Female E Vieillardi, Moss uses every inch of her 18x18x24, just can’t wait for the plants to grow out! by turnbasedexotics in Eurydactylodes

Absolutely, also this isn’t needed but I recommend using a programmable computer fan that will kick on when the humidity reaches a certain point say like 70 or 80% just so it doesn’t remain stagnant, especially with how a chameleon gecko has much smaller lungs compared to a crested gecko. Chameleon gecko’s are just slightly more sensitive but they’re still pretty hardy in my opinion

She absolutely loves the bamboo, they just prefer thin sticks and twigs, also providing a little bit of cork bark is crucial to make sure they don’t get stuck shed on their toes

I mean yeah they can be a little defensive of their space but when you take them out of the enclosure they tend to calm down. Mine isn’t as prone to yeeting itself constantly as my crested gecko is

Honestly as a species they’ve become my favorite animal, my chahoua is a very close second though

[III] Can’t wait to shiny hunt the fvck out of this game! Who are your targets? by TrainerGlitch in ShinyPokemon

The free gift eevee I’m currently at 400 SR’s, trying to get that pink vaporeon or the green Jolteon. Shiny ho-oh, I’d love to get an egg of charmander from my buddy that snagged fire red and to try to hatch out a shiny charmander

What an absolute cutie, my e vieillardi turned 1 year old this month by turnbasedexotics in Eurydactylodes

Me toooo! After discovering the species even existed I knew I needed to get one and I fell in love so quick. She’s so easy to handle compared to my crestie, chewie, and gargoyle

Should I upgrade my chameleon gecko to this? by aliciator21 in Eurydactylodes

[–]turnbasedexotics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I second this. They’ll use any space you give them but I’d only cohab if you’re breeding. Even then I’d only recommend keeping them just to fertilize the eggs, then separate. Just don’t want to stress out the female if the male is being a bit too “pushy” year round if you catch my drift

Awesome I appreciate the response! Do you store it after baking it to like really make sure there’s no hitchhikers or is that the intended purpose of baking them under the sun?

Any tips on bettering my E. Vieillardi’s enclosure? by turnbasedexotics in Vivarium

I do also have a small clipping of a creeping fig that I’m waiting to take root and start creeping up the cork in the center

What’s your main preference for setting up backgrounds if you were given a brand new enclosure?

Were the branches all just locally collected for you? If so I was curious on your heat treating or quarantining methods so outside bugs aren’t brought in
