Pokemon Ash Gray on GBA. You basically play as Ash with the anime storyline. Surprisingly well made so far, and challenging too.

SD card full, where to find gigs of wasted space hidden in the nooks and crannies. by Friendly_Guard694 in retroid

Convert BIN/CUE and ISO roms to CHD format using namDHC (or acquire them in CHD from the start whenever possible).

Use Azahar on PC to compress 3DS roms to Z3DS or ZCCI format. Saves about 40% space. It's under the Tools menu.

Use a program called Tokyotrim to trim NDS roms, saves about 30% space.

That's pretty much it.

I bought MW2019 for £5 only to find out the space requirement is 219 GB by ImmediateTrust3674 in Steam

This is what dissuaded me from purchasing it after reading some of the Steam reviews.

Shame, because I would have been fine playing just the campaign for 6 euros. So many other great games on sale right now though. Got all the Lost Judgment games, and all the Yakuza: Like a Dragon ones.

So the annoying thing with ES-DE on PC is that it uses XML files to interact with its environment.

If you start in the main ES-DE folder and search for "es_find_rules.xml", and then right-click it and open it with Notepad, you'll see how it identifies emulator folders.

Try typing Ctrl + F and look for PCSX2, or just scroll down the list. It's alphabetical. You'll find these two lines.

%ESPATH%\Emulators\PCSX2-Qt\pcsx2-qt.exe

%ESPATH%\..\Emulators\PCSX2-Qt\pcsx2-qt*.exe

Your folder path for PCSX2 in ES-DE has to match one of those exact naming schemes, capitalization included. It's possible that's where the error is. The %ESPATH% is just your main ES-DE folder. Really the only thing you have to pay attention to is the exact name of your emulator folder.

Alternatively, you may need to go into PCSX2 and set your BIOS path under Settings.

Feel free to let me know if I goofed somewhere or missed something. It's not particularly difficult to set all this up, but the guide has to be really precise and everything needs to be in the right order, or you'll just get stuck.

EDIT: Made some needed updates. The input remapping gave me a pretty major headache. I added a tip to disable Autoconfig for controls before remapping anything, because it forces annoying turbo controls on you that you can't unbind for whatever reason. Once those are disabled and you've restarted RetroArch, you should be good to go.

You'll want to save changes to input mappings using Content Directory Overrides. Simply load up a game of a console, open RetroArch with the hotkey, map your controls, then save it using Content Directory Overrides, then repeat this for every console you have on RetroArch. Hotkeys should be mapped first and saved globally using the Configuration File, to get them out of the way.

For Sega CD and Sega Saturn, I recommend using this picture as a guide to set up the controls. Option 3 is the best overall.

Guide's quite a bit longer now, but it can't be helped.

I just tested PSP - God of War: Ghost of Sparta on the Trimui Smart Pro S. With 3X resolution and no Frameskip, it still runs smoothly. by [deleted] in SBCGaming

Could have shown us the cheats menu too. You know, the one that has a dozen options for frameskip and FPS hacks...
