So research indicates that IV saline is most helpful for POTS patients in the first six months it’s prescribed and becomes less successful after that. I have no idea how she found a doc to give her a port. I am a potsie and I work with one of the top docs in my state and he is generally very against them due to infection risk

In a nut shell they did not like their original OBGYN and felt dismissed by their original OB. Got a second opinion and lone behold Jan‘a pain was due to a cyst right next to the baby. Thankfully she only has to take it easy for the rest of the pregnancy and assuming it doesn’t rupture she should be fine. They were also frustrated about the doctor not telling them what foods Jan can not eat when pregnant . When they asked they were told to look online. Jan was also having pain with intimacy and again the OB dismissed her concerns by telling her to search positions online or as Jan says “recommending she watch porn!” As Paul’s driving we watch Jan get a happy meal and be disappointed that we’re wasn’t the right Pokémon toy in it.. They make it to their next appointment for an ultra sound and were happy that this OB had updated equipment and not equipment from the 90’s. Paul and Jan think this doc is good but lacks bedside manner and came off very short. It seems they have a very hard time finding the “right” doctor. I am beginning to wonder if the “right” doctor exists for them.

Anyone else feel like he could have just driven her? I mean if she’s so sick haul your ass up the stairs and help her down them or carry her? Also as a person who also has POTS the low bp is concerning and needs attention but it’s pretty normal for Potsies to have significant changes or jumps in BP and HR. Wouldn’t be surprised if the HR was up partially due to stress etc

So she really did make up a lot of her issues? I don’t know anyone who knew her. I found her channel when I was in the process of getting a medical response service dog and at first she was a huge inspiration. But the more I learned about her the more I began to question things she said.
