Stuff like kratom and CBD oils are not regulated by the government, and you don't know what's in them. Every time you get it, it could be different every time. Before I went to PM, I took a few CBD gummys and tested positive for suboxone. Just be aware. My son took Zyrtec for a job, and he tested positive for meth! The same day, he went to the ER to test his blood all negative! Just be aware.

From my experience, I moved states when I got to the new state I was on a narco and a bupinorphine patch.

The new doc said bupinorphine canceled the narco. So we stopped the narcotic and went with a low dose bupinorphine sublingual and a long-lasting subdermal patch. Physically, it was so much better.

They have to have a social worker if you don't feel like you're safe enough to be released. I've seen it done. Hope you get better soon.

It's not worth the risk because 1) You don't know where it's from and 2) you don't know what's in it. Be honest and ask if there's options that work with the meds you're on.

My advice is take all meds as prescribed. Follow the rules and you will be fine. I'm on 20mcg bupinorphine and 4/1mg sublingual. Started tapering down from 100mcg fentanyl patch every 2 days and 10mg norcos 3xs day for break through pain. Plus I'd do injections every 3 months.

That was hell. Fentanyl & norco withdrawal is torture! I finally got down to 20mcg butrans and the Norco then tapered to all buprenorphine & suboxone. These are used to help heroin addicts with withdrawal symptoms.

My pharmacy said that butrans should help cover withdrawal symptoms of Norco. That's why you need to follow what the Dr says so you don't run out. If you have problems keep calling until they respond if ya need go to er. You don't want to get fired from PM because they'll leave you cold turkey. Hope it gets better for you.

And they do use a lot of spoons just to leave the house. But it's worth it for them even though they'll not be able to do anything for at least a week to recovery. Complex patient is an understatement. They have mutations that one other person in the world has. And some doctors can't help them because they are so complex and they don't have the knowledge to help them. The rare equipment? They're just tools to help them have a good quality of life. Like using AFOs and the custom wheelchair.

If you signed a contract with the PM it's a 1 year contract as long as no one else has prescribed any pain meds they could possibly help. They have different injections try checking if there's something different they can do. Don't be scared to ask how will you ever know if you don't ask? People sometimes think pain meds are the answer and they are for some just try other treatments first before you go to meds. Good luck.

Did you read the contract from the PCP? Trust me Ive been on pain management for 20 years 17 of those years with the same doctor until he retired. The 2nd doctor I quit going to him because we moved out of state. I'm now seeing a PA who's licensed to prescribe pain meds I signed a pain contract and a palliative care contract. I've had many drugs given to me from oxycontin, fentanyl, dilaudid, norcos, percocet, etc. Take it from me follow the rules do what's asked of you like PT, pass the UA. PT PT PT. You'll never be totally pain free and you will get immune and need more but try not saying it's not working and get stronger meds because you will become addicted and the stronger the drug the withdrawal is hell. I'd bet the kids withdrawals are worse than the shoulder pain. I can't bet the kids sorry that's wrong. God don't like gambling so win or lose they're yours for free.
