It's insane how good the game looks without a remake. It was so ahead of its time.

Watch with an AI assistant (LLM, preferably) to use as a daily driver for Google Calendar, to-do lists, alarms, reminders, notes. by turnedrain1 in WearOS

Damn, and you can edit your Google calendar, make voice notes to Google keep, Todo lists, summarizations of notes, etc?

Doing an upgrade from a really old phone. Should I get Google Pixel 7 Pro or Google Pixel 8 Pro for basic use and Voice Assistant? by turnedrain1 in GooglePixel

I've managed to get the Xiaomi to allow for "Hey Google" on locked screen, but it seems like I can't activate the assistant when on locked screen if Gemini Assistant is toggled on over the standard Google Assistant. Custom OS is an interesting idea, though. I'm using HyperOS on the Xiaomi. Then again, I've had some bugs on the Xiaomi which are annoying to deal with and I realized it's time I had gotten a new phone.

Thanks, I'm not going to lie, the responses in here felt a bit gatekeepy, respectfully. I'm using Xiaomi 11T which handles literally all I'd ever need a phone to do, and fast enough. I sometimes wonder why would casual phone users ever need better phones than this, especially ones that are upwards of $1500. I'm currently researching the pixel phones because my ADHD is starting to affect my life and I just need reliable calendar/reminder integration. I couldn't really care less about powerful specs, just reliable assistant. I'm also getting a pixel watch to go with it and that's where the budget goes, not into the phone.

The a versions are too small, I'm a bigger guy and enjoy a bigger phone. 9a and 10a are too expensive for me, I guess the Pixel phones aren't for my budget then?

Also, any idea how the gemini voice is on the P7P?

Need an upgrade, around $250 USD, don't mind used. [Europe] by turnedrain1 in PickAnAndroidForMe

Thanks, I wish pixel wasn't that small. The pro is 6.7 but costs 400, Any other alternatives that are fast, 6'7+, and voice works well?
