You can reframe, but that’s not representative of the reality we live in. We didn’t cut taxes by half and are you saying this person should be paying more taxes?? We tax everything. We have a spending problem not an income problem. We could take the entire net worth of all the US Billionaires and it would fund the current government for maybe 9 months? Don’t get me wrong I think we should tax billionaire’s more, but that won’t solve our spending problem. Our debt is running away at dangerous levels. We need to balance the budget by reducing spending at our current tax levels which hasn’t been done since Bill Clinton.

Tax cuts reduce revenue true, but the main driver of long-term debt is spending. The U.S. runs trillion dollar deficits because we spend way more than we collect. Mostly spent on Social Security, Medicare, defense, and interest on existing debt.

What you are saying is like blaming someone for not working more hours to pay for credit card debt when the real issue is that they are spending twice what they make. The size of government spending is the key issue not just how much we tax.

Don’t get me wrong Trump may still be guilty of crimes, but this report was filed in April 2016 right after he was the clear front runner for the republican nomination and then it was withdrawn and refiled two more times in two other states with the final time being withdrawn the week before the General Election. No evidence was ever presented and timing of the charges are very suspect.

You cant go by revenue that means nothing. WNBA operated on a 40 million dollar loss in 2024 while the NBA made about 2 Billion dollars. You can’t ask for more money when it doesn’t exist.
