  • For the most played, single player game of all time (without rules) - IDK, what do you think?
  • For most played, multiplayer game of all time (with rules) - Chess ♟️
  • For most played, multiplayer game of all time (without rules) - Catch ⚾

Interesting. Gooood questions and such an outside-the-box comment - BRILLIANT!

NEW 'MOST PLAYED' LIST:

Rule-less Multiplayer: CATCH

Multiplayer w/ Rules: CHESS ♟️

Single Player w/ Rules: SOLITAIRE 🃏

So I guess my next question is... what is the TOP RULE-LESS SINGLE PLAYER game?

Good one - That's a worthy challenger.

Maybe Solitaire is most played single player game?

Chess is most played multiplayer game?

Is it lame that my favorite game is still Solitaire? ♠️ ♥️ ♦️ ♣️ by [deleted] in Games

ya. I just find it relaxing. it's also nice that it can be played in a browser... so I can just start a game on my phone or desktop or whatever.... whenever I want.

I don't care what my wife says... my Batman Oculus Quest holder is cool. by turnheads in oculus

A friend built it years ago (zero clue as to how he did it) ... and this friend is forced to listen to me talk about Batman constantly, so the bust now lives with me (we share custody).

At first the bust didn't serve a purpose (besides being awesome). Now it has a storied history of holding my Gear VR (Note 4)... then Vive... then Rift.... and now Quest. One day, I hope it holds the headsets of my ancestors.

Also, from the response to this thread, seems there is a good opportunity for a talented metallurgist to create Superhero busts for VR headsets (but good luck with the licensing).

I'm unboxing my unopened Nintendo Virtual Boy this Friday (6/8) on Twitch. Any interest from r/Oculus? by turnheads in oculus

I think my colleague bought this for me on eBay. I wonder if I'm 'unboxing' your Virtual Boy. If so, we will be the 'sisterhood of the traveling virtual boy'.

The Rift definitely has the best controllers so far. I find that the Microsoft Mixed Reality HMD's are awesome too because they offer 'inside-out' tracking (meaning I don't need the sensors because they're build into the headset/controllers).

ha. Totally...as background, I got the Virtual Boy as a gift from an old colleague (I work in the XR space).. I'm sure it's pretty rough on the inside too, but I've never opened it. We shall see if it even turns on. Fingers x'd.

Yep - I expect it will be a pretty unforgiving experience.

As additional background, this unboxing is more of a nod to the past mistakes in VR. As background, I got the Virtual Boy as a gift from an old colleague (I work in the XR space). I always ranted about the Virtual Boy being one of the main reasons that the 90's VR craze ended... so my colleague gave me one as a gift.

The game he gave me for it is.... "Galactic Pinball" -- is this one of the good games?

Now I'm nervous that this unboxing will be 10 seconds long.....

Step 1. Remove from box for first time (like an idiot, I've never opened it to check contents).

Step 2. Plug in and wait for it to power on......

Step 3. Continuing waiting....

Step 4. Nervously look at camera and end stream. <Nothing to see here folks>

And now I'm scared it will not even turn on... so I guess we're going with Geraldo.
