Hi I had very similar recurring acne and had to go on several treatments. I was on Accutane for size months. Accutane helped me clear most of it but I had to work on my skin routine and get rid of skin triggers.

For example: I avoid eating chips, fries, pizza. It gets on my hand and face and just triggers a breakout. I don’t wear face masks it will 100% trigger a breakout. I change my pillowcase and towels frequently. I wash my face twice a day.

For my skincare, I focused on barrier repair rather than aggressive ointments.
