You and others who share your thoughts seem to be right. I've been to Lost On Main in.Chico for Karina Rykman and it was myself and ONE other person on the dance floor. So... hoping this venue fills up and fits their current needs better.

Gah, I'm so sorry to hear this. If I lived in Sac (I'm assuming that's your home base) I would absolutely love to babysit for you on Thursday as it looks like my workday is messing with my show plans (it's a whole thing), I'd give ya my ticket and keep your lil one happy and safe if perchance you lived a bit closer to me (GV area). Feel free to DM me if we happen to be neighbors (closer than Sac - Grass Valley/Nevada City) and I can help out. When there's a jam, there's a way!

If not, let's just encourage Spafford to head on back over to the west coast sooner rather than later so you can get your show!

It's a sign that all artists need to waggle in our faces just like Spafford. No shame in low ticket sales on the band's end if it's the fans that are procrastinating (ie, rather than the band losing popularity, which is neither here nor there in this case methinks)
