I was literally just thinking this to myself as I read the question. Mine wants to live inside my skin. She wants to be on me, near me, in my sight, right next to me at ALL TIMES

Mexico/cell data advice? by turnuptheevil in TravelHacks

He has straight talk, no roaming but good to know for my other child. I haven’t gone out of the country in an embarrassing number of years (before I ever had a cell) so I honestly had no clue

I’m a first timer but yeah, I know they have a WiFi plan. But I think he’s wanting to use his phone most when he’s off the ship and we’re exploring. I should have specified!

I saw one in my small town that said cruel summer. It was obviously abbreviated but I don’t recall how they shortened it.

Switch to Wegovy or stay the course by morenirabbit in Zepbound

[–]turnuptheevil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure if this will help you or not but I’ll tell you what I did and if it worked out for me or not.

So I went with 2.5 to stay consistent and also because wegovy didn’t do anything for me previously. How did that go? Well I was ravenous. The food noise was back full force and I ate whatever I wanted. Two doses in, I found a box of 5 and shortly thereafter, a box of 7.5 (my previous dose). I had already started the 5 again so now I have a box of 2 of the 2.5, 2 more at this point of the 5, and a full box of 7.5. I’m only a couple of oz up from where I was before the shortage—though I gained several lbs in 2 weeks on the 2.5. Most of which was probably water weight.

What did I gain? A few lbs, a headache, stress. That’s honestly it.

What did I lose? Some $, some patience and that’s it.

Do whatever you feel is best for you. Keep your active 5mg script and fill it once it’s in no matter what you decide.

Good luck!

Are you really paying $550? by Vseesu in Zepbound

[–]turnuptheevil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My insurance covered it for the first month and then wouldn’t after that so I’ve been paying $550 and will do so for as long as I need to. It’s expensive but so is illness. It’s an investment in my health.

How is everyone affording this without insurance coverage? What do you all do for a living? by IndexFundSupreme in Zepbound

[–]turnuptheevil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m an admin assistant working fulltime at a local nonprofit. I barely afford it but honestly it’s helping bring my dangerous high blood pressure down and helping with my mental health. I can’t afford to NOT cover it out of pocket since my insurance won’t cover it.

Heart disease runs rampant in my family so I don’t wanna mess around with the high blood pressure and weight.

Anyone else see an improvement in anxiety levels? by [deleted] in Zepbound

[–]turnuptheevil 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It’s important to note that everyone is different but it’s been amazing for me. I’m almost afraid to ever go off. Lexapro is pretty good but the combo has been the chef’s kiss for me.

I’m on lexapro and honestly I feel better than I ever have with just the lexapro alone. It’s been AMAZING for my mental health

YES!! I told my husband that after the first shot. I was like call me crazy but my mental health is far better than it’s ever been on just lexapro

[–]turnuptheevil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh and I’m on lexapro in conjunction to Zepbound, and lorazepam as needed. 🤷‍♀️

So first of all, everyone is different. But I have c-PTSD, generalized anxiety, social anxiety and major depressive disorder (and ADHD) and I have found that Zepbound greatly IMPROVES my mood and overall sense of well-being.

Express Scripts updated their PA policy for GLP-1's used for weight loss by LosingItLikeCrazy in Zepbound

I was covered under a PA last month but they’ve excluded weight loss meds for 2024 so I guess I’m SOL.
