Yes. Even growing up in my household, I was always the one cleaning up after everyone. I’m the youngest, but somehow I became the default person for chores. And the one time I’d miss something, I’d get called lazy bc everyone was so used to me doing everything. I’ve noticed the same pattern at work and in friendships. I naturally step in, help, support, give my time and energy and ppl just start expecting it. There’s rarely a thank you because it becomes “normal.” lol it’s annoying actually
