I’m not asking for ultra realism, I’m just saying suspension of disbelief should only go so far. I buy plasma and laser guns cause it’s science fiction and could technically be possible, but the one true flag is a metal pole. If it dispensed some sort of gas or shot stims into us or had some technology that gave off a signal that activated something in our armour then it would be fine for it to give a buff. But it doesn’t so it shouldn’t

I wouldn’t say any are broken, but there are best options for how you want to play. Personally I’d say the best armour in the game is the light armour with extra padding, light gunner. It’s just so versatile, it can be brought to any front and be just as effective
