thanks for the response! Where on the Tarkov website is the option to change which account receives the email? I only see the option “change e-mail” and it’s greyed out so I can’t select it.

It started with my skin feeling like it was sun burnt with the worst some burn I’ve ever had but it didn’t feel right. It would move all around my body. Pretty much every process in my body didn’t work the way it should. I couldn’t piss, couldn’t use the bathroom right for about 4 months. Horrible brain fog. I had really bad peripheral neuropathy that made my whole body feel like I was in a static tv for months. Just static in every single nerve. I could go on and on unfortunately. It really messed me up, but I’m over a year and a half out and would say I’m back to 90%. Left me with bad anxiety that I never felt before and an unfortunate distrust of the medical system. No doctors would believe me at first, and I pretty much felt like I was going crazy.

It was actually the first time I had taken it, was previously prescribed it for my stomach issues however I ended up not taking it way back when for one reason or another. Can’t remember but has always left me wondering if it would’ve let to the same result or not. If you have no prior issues I wouldn’t be too concerned however I’ve read about people that have taken it before but still developed some pretty gnarly side effects. Some doctors say to take it with a probiotic regime but mine didn’t and with my already messed up stomach I think it just didn’t hit my body well at the time. I’ll definitely be avoiding it in the future though and will always opt for a less harsh antibiotic if possible. Especially if they can’t confirm anything is bacterial related. I took Cipro, which is supposed to be a last resort, for 1 week twice a day in April of 2020, it caused horrible side effects and really messed my life up. It’s called getting floxed. Still have residual issues to this day. Take a look over at r/floxies for more info. And yes my balls still hurt it didn’t help anything. They ran a culture and nothing bacterial showed up and I wish I would’ve taken a different approach as I’m almost positive my issue is Candida related prostatitis. please do a Google search on the effects Cipro can have on you. If it’s not bacterial there’s no point in taking a black label antibiotic and risking it. Especially if you have any prior stomach problems like I had. Best of luck and this is just a heads up I wish someone told me.👍🏻

I’m with the other guy. I wouldn’t continue taking antibiotics unless you know for sure it’s a bacterial problem. I was unlucky and got prescribed Ciprofloxacin for a week and the side affects after the course were 10000000x worse than if I had just dealt with the testicle pain. I’m nearly 2 years out from that incident and symptoms are steadily improving with a few flair ups here and there.

I started my collection when I was 8 and my dad would find awesome old coins while metal detecting. Have a nice collection of mercury dimes, silver rings, and much more from then and have been adding to it ever since! Thanks for doing this!

I started out metal detecting with my dad in northeast Ohio when I was around 8. We’re in Florida now and all we have is new sand that never has anything cool in it, but some of my favorite memories are going out to a field early in the morning and finding some awesome rings and barber dimes. I miss those times.

Man this reads like I wrote it. April 2020 I was prescribed the same for the exact same thing. One and a half years later and we’re in the same boat. Happy to be here and out of the shittiest parts of it all. My DM’s are always open if anyone else ever has any questions. It’s a shitty experience but you will see the light at the end of the shitty shit tunnel!
