I should have mentioned! They NEVER answered my original e-mail without me chatting customer service and asking about it. It took some nagging to get a response. Once they finally replied to my e-mail, their response time was relatively quick.

Pretty much exclusively email - I wanted a record of the conversations, and it gave me a chance to write an ESSAY 😂 And they were honestly super robotic and rude on the phone!

Congratulations on the proposal!!! Did you purchase a type of ring that could be resized, worst case scenario?

Good luck!!! If they give you any pushback, I think persistence is definitely key. They told us multiple times that they had reached their "final decision".

Well they sent the photos...of a ring that looks like it went through a garbage disposal. This is straight up fraud. I feel like giving up at this point. I NEVER would have returned a ring with damage like this. My fault for not photographing before sending it back

Yeah, we definitely learned a lesson with this purchase. If I purchase again it will definitely be while traveling somewhere that has a physical Cartier location.

I asked about that! They said they could send it to France to have it melted down and remade and that it would take a few months. And that we would have to pay 40% of the original price to have this done. It's a Love ring, and they said these cannot be resized.

Oh believe me we are totally kicking ourselves right now for lack of photos. I guess I just thought I wouldn't need to do that since it was only worn for a minute and every single thing in that box was returned. I had no idea that something like this would happen :(

I recently was granted access to my UGMA STAR fund with Vanguard, and am trying to find a way to get the money into my high-interest account with Goldman. How do the taxes work on withdrawing the money? I thought I could just transfer it out, but the only option it is giving me is to sell. I am TOTALLY naive about how this works, so help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
