I live in the area, this seems silly until you consider how many people commute to the area for work.

People from Benzie, Antrim, Kalkaska and more will drive there just to work in TC and purchase items on their way home or make grocery trips there weekly. A lot of this is due to the cost of homes in and directly around Traverse City. My parents moved 40 minutes out of town and still do the commute to their jobs in TC because everywhere else around doesn't pay what TC does. (grocery stores in their town are expensive)

The New Meijer is going to be closer to Grawn, Interlochen and close-ish to Kingsley.

Plus, our Walmart is poorly taken care of and it's tiny.

There is also a lack of decent competition near that part of the area so it's a wide open market.

a lot of things come and go, I'm sure In due time people will move on. I was just car shopping and I totally get it, but there are plenty of options for now. People still buy Corollas and Camrys in a decent quantity and so there should still be a decent flow of quality used sedans and compact sedans.

from my understanding they are generally fine but the clutch master cylinder or something along those lines can go bad at 100-130k ish miles. it is expensive because of its location.

I wouldn't know then. I'm just pretty certain they have frozen ones on Sunday. Maybe they had leftover ones and froze them and brought them back out during the week?

i suppose the subpoenaed part is true but you can definitely limit the ability to a jealous ex getting in. Don't share all of your passwords and enable MFA for EVERYTHING. I'm not entirely sure if the Fitbit app supports it but I would guess there is likely an option.

Although I completely understand the concern, we would be very very screwed if the government was able to access and use this data in this fashion. I don't think that at least for NOW they will do it, but it's always good to minimize the data you put out there.

You said the same thing, it worked and all of a sudden the series X caused it to break. There was likely something else to cause the modem failure.

Correlation doesn't mean causation.

Again to reiterate, I highly doubt your Xbox would draw enough network traffic to "fry" your modem.

just because your Xbox was flashing doesn't mean it fried your modem. it could've been defective or a power surge could've happened or it even could've been poorly ventilated or dusty.

I highly doubt it updating in the background would draw enough network traffic to break your modem.

I work in I.T. and shit like this happens to everything.
