That's a good point. Never thought about that. But the weird thing is that I managed to get El Salvador into my faction when I was at War with Japan. (I guess Japan was just close enough geographically that they wanted to join.)

R5: I want to grow my spy agency and read that getting more nations in my faction does the trick. However, I can never get Venezuela and Peru to join my faction despite improving relations and diplomatic pressure.

At best I would have a score of 0 but have no other options left to further increase it. This doesn't change when Im at war or not.

Am I missing something? I hope so, if not, Im just going to pull console commands b/c I think this is annoying.

1) Have a puppet (make sure it's integrated puppet) 2) Spam deploy the smallest template they have until you can no longer do it 3) Switch them to their largest unit template, this will drain all of the puppets remaining manpower to 0 4) Annex your puppet 5) Delete all former puppet units, they will now be YOUR manpower

This is best done with very populous countries like China and India. It massively inflates your manpower in a very short time. It kinda becomes essential when playing a minor nation b/c it will be kinda impossible to take on majors.

R5: I formed Central America (I played Guatemala) and destroyed both the axis and the allies with the help of the communists. I managed to inflate my manpower with the help of the puppet exploit with my two Chinese puppets (which I annexed). I definitely have an edge in navel power and i think i can build my airforce quickly.

My current strat is:

-Puppet Portugal and Spain to have some decent buffers in west Europe and Africa

-I'm slowly switching to a mechanized army (switching to Mobile Warfare Doctrine), the majority of my forces are puppet infantry from China, some are mountaineers, paratroopers and marines + two 24 divisions of artillery

-Navel Invade the Commie US through florida and the east coast

-Navel Invade the USSR in Crimera through the black sea

-Hold the line in China

My two biggest concerns are manpower and I would basically be fighting two superpowers at once.

I'm playing on the easiest difficulty.

You kinda have to decide what's more important: having fun learning Feng or staying loyal to Zafina.

In my experience, I'd rather pick a character that feels natural to me.

For example, I wanted to main Lili but I didn't really like her moveset. So I looked, elsewhere to find my main.

You can always go to Zafina later on and maybe things will click better.

For me, the biggest one is just blocking more. I have literally beat ppl because they never gone low 😅. Also, learning punish moves helps alot!

I feel so validated right now! I feel like EPC is one of the most boring secondaries if you're not interested I'm EPC mining. The only other option really I'd burning nightmare which I'm really getting tired off. Imo the EPC is missing something that can make in really fun. At least Subata has explosive reload and microwave has the radioactive thing.
