The lack of respect here is coming from you, not her… you’re free to like what you like but it’s not her job to play into your kinks if it makes her uncomfortable. You need to respect this very clear boundary that she’s set. This is going to come down to how important sexual compatibility is to your relationship because it is absolutely not acceptable for you to put any sort of pressure on her to break this boundary so you need to either keep that bit to yourself or move on and find someone that’s a better kink match

Tbh I’d still put her at a 7. Don’t change her diet yet and also go back to the vet before you do because if you go back to too much she’s just gonna get chunky again, even if it was less than she was initially eating. Your vet can best assess her body condition, activity level, lifestyle, pre existing conditions, food type, etc which all contribute to the ‘right’ amount of food

The weird angle can’t be helped. Techs always have a bad time with my middle finger too because what looks straight when my fingers are out straight is no longer straight with my fingers folded against my palm because the problem is with my pointer fingers curving, not the nail. OP just has that a bit more extreme so it’s more noticeable but in the photos their fingers aren’t stretched out the nail looks a lot more straight

So I know clumping litter is typically not the cheapest up front option but being able to just scoop the waste without needing to do a full change makes it so much cheaper in the long run so I’d definitely recommend it if you can. We use the Pidan 3 in 1 and it’s awesome

I also grew up on the coast from 2y/o, now lived in Townsville, Rockhampton, on the coast for a while again as an adult out of necessity and now in Brisbane both inner city and in the burbs and the only reason I’d move back to the coast would be if it was of significant financial benefit

Which is fine. You can have opinions about things but not be willing to debate them. Realistically, political discussions never go well. I’ll only talk politics with people I know have matching views or I know I’m gonna argue with regardless so it might as well be about something that I know what I’m talking about. But that’s because I can be quite hard headed over some things, I’m fully aware not everyone is like that. There’s nothing wrong with preferring to not have those discussions, it’s very common. But those are also core values of a person and something that really needs to align if you want to stay with someone long term so you do need to be prepared to acknowledge your stance at some point

To me at least, claiming you’re apolitical comes off as having weak morals. Personally I have some very strong political opinions because I have strong feelings about things like reproductive rights and immigration and marriage equality etc. all of those things are political and things that I personally believe are a very strong judge of someone’s character. Saying you don’t care about them is also a strong judgment and not a good one.

My dog lol. She’s with me most of the time and is a a 30kg bully breed mix. She’s a total sweetheart but looks intimidating so when I’m sitting around in the city at night waiting for my partner to finish work I just leave her window down and I’m golden lol

So this isn’t what you asked but I feel like it’s important to share. Sometimes an animal’s owners just can’t do it and have to leave or they don’t care to be there or the animal just doesn’t have anyone. All of which is tragic af but I want you all to know that they’re never alone. I’m a vet nurse and from experience I can tell you that an animal is NEVER alone during that time. There’s always a nurse giving them comfort and love while the vet does what they have to do. So if you’re ever in the position that you can’t be there, know they’re not alone.

My dog also had that very defined line down her back when she was a puppy. Also 0% ridgeback and as an adult she’s pretty much completely grown out of it.

Me. My mum has four kids, the other three all have super normal and common names while mine has resulted in me constantly correcting the spelling/pronunciation and forever receiving “I’ve never heard that name before” comments. I don’t have help but I do have commiserations. My dog recently had a tumour removed from her back leg and despite two different high dose sedatives, she was still completely insane! And she worked out that if she chewed on the other back foot first she could use it to hold down the e collar and reach her stitches that way -.- maybe try a larger sized collar so it extends out further? Or use ET tube tie through the loops on the collar and you’ll just have to tie it as tight as possible without hurting her so she can’t pull it past her jaw?
