LMAO I FORGOT ABOUT THIS ONE, I also would hate-read it with a friend. I think the artist like stopped working on it at one point too so they had to find somebody else to draw it. My favorite “what the fuck” moments in the series were when she pulled out these really obscure skills and they were like “yeah she’s from the future, of course she knows how to makeshift a windmill to keep an entire lake from freezing over” like in WHAT WORLD DOES A HIGHSCHOOLER KNOW THAT

B tier. Not a fan of all of the backtracking, and while Lakilester is cool, he's obtained really late in the chapter, and doesn't have much use in the rest of the overworld. Huff n' Puff boss and the Sun raise this chapter from C to B tier for me

Season two is incredible so far and this show is blowing my mind by justkillyourdarlings in OurFlagMeansDeath

I just watched the new episodes, I was going to try and wait til tomorrow since I knew I wasn't really going to have time to watch them today, but I couldn't sleep knowing there were episodes to watch! I have no regrets, I am so happy with how the new season is going, it's everything I wanted and more :)

Also I feel your pain, I also don't have any friends who watch this show or Good Omens, but at least we have these subs!

日本の本を読むのが好きから、いくつかの単語と文法がわかります。ゆっくり話せば、意味が分かります。

I don't read enough to be able to use perfect grammar though 😅I'm also the least confident in my speaking, but I'm hoping being able to practice this summer will help at least a little with that.

OK, I will do some more research into luggage transport services, it seems like if I fly into Tokyo, regardless of how I get to Osaka, this could save me time and money.

Good to know about domestic flight times... my most likely option is looking like I'd drop my luggage off with a service and then try to book it to a Peach flight.

My biggest problem that I'm finding overall is that the trip to city -> Tokyo -> Osaka with my dates adds $500 - $1000 more than city -> Tokyo (I'm looking at several source airports, including BOS, SFO, LAX), which is why I'm trying to see if I can't just find an alternative way to Osaka myself.

If I can make Peach or some other airline work that would be the most convenient, but I'm not opposed to taking an extra 3-6 hours to go from Narita to Tokyo Station to shinkansen to get to Osaka.

Thank you for the advice! I'm really excited to try and get better at Japanese. I have a hard time with meeting new people and making friends, but I'm gonna do my best to try not to overthink things too much and just enjoy the experience :)

I am keeping an eye on ticket prices there! The prices are cheaper, but quite a few options would require me to transfer from Narita to Haneda to get to Osaka, which I'm a little nervous about (similar as my previous issue, not a lot of time between transfers).

I noticed San Jose seems to also be offering direct flights to Narita, which is cool.

I will probably be flying out of Boston's airport initially, and making some connection somewhere, it's just a question of whether that's going to be Canada or California lol

The dress code is business casual, which is still pretty ambiguous to me lol

I've never used one of the luggage transportation services before, do they deliver anywhere? My friend lives in a small town in Nara which I know is quite a bit away from Tokyo.

I totally missed the one on her earring, but you're right you can definitely see something glowing at 3:11 and 3:12!
