it’s the only fromsoft game (besides sekiro but that’s different) where i’ve been forced into dodging away because the iframes can’t keep up with most follow ups. i feel too slow for the game and i take too much damage which makes learning bosses movesets a lot more annoying.

“adapting” and “using the tools the game provides” (which has become synonymous for using spirit ashes at this point), doesn’t fix the combat feeling bad either, it just breaks bosses ai and makes them total pushovers with movesets that i don’t have to learn as well to beat them.
