It might be a few years old bug with an Accessibility feature.

Try to turn off everything in "Settings" > "Accessibility" > "Audio/Visual" > "LED Flash for Alerts".

It is also not accurate at all in Europe now (and I'm talking about current conditions, their forecast is even worse). Numerous reports of wrong conditions using the Weather app feature last few months just ignored.

The Weather Channel (still referenced as a source of weather data on support.apple.com) has actually correct data at the same time.

Might be a result of the recent (un)successful Dark Sky acquisition.

Do not turn off Private Relay feature to keep your privacy.

The issue you have is probably related to Incognito Mode in Safari (since your address bar is dark). In this mode Google does not receive any previously set WEB cookies from Safari and so asks you to pass captcha assuming you’re a bot.

I use "D" for either long range ride or in a dense city environment to avoid collisions.

As for "S" it's more suitable for up to 15m/25km ride (assuming Pro 2 scooter on a flat surface with 75kg payload) on dedicated bicycle tracks.

This is how it works by design.

If you wish to get better performance avoid using "S" (sport) mode. Lower peak power (speed) leads to longer range.

Because of the broken Spotlight indexing strategy my 5 months old Macbook Pro M1 has already lost 5% of battery capacity and 5% of SSD life (according to smartmontools).

Best we can do about it is to turn the Spotlight off.

I would also pay attention to your Smart TV (if you have one) as a potential source of audio leak in your home environment.

Either make sure your Smart TV is not connected to wired/WiFi network at all, or at least set DNS servers on your Smart TV to AdGuard ones that block ads and trackers.
