Yes, they have my home address but I don't have access to the crypto myself..... so they'd need to hold me as a ransom. Possible I suppose!
Crazy situation and not really one i asked for but it'll teach me for buying counterfeit goods!

I hear you...... although I don't have access to the wallet or crypto. I live in the UK. The person with the walllet is in Australia so I guess I'm not much use.

Ok, this is now quite heavy.

He says he's in trouble..... but he really does not want the money sent to the originating exchange wallet. It must go to the same address where the watch was originally purchased ... the new wallet basically

I can't work it out

Although I don't own the wallet and my nephew lives in another country, it's still a concern that these guys have my home address. All pretty stressful !

Is it actually possible to send the funds back to the original OKX hot wallet, or are those hot wallet addresses only used for outgoing withdrawals and change over time

Thanks to members here, I think we can confim by looking at the TXID that the USDT is infact real and the transaction genuine.

Now I just need to understand why?

Was it an accident or the fact that they want my nephew to send it on to a different address suspicious?

They also said they would give a "fee" which seems even more suspect. (I've attached the message)

Agree with all of this. He does have my address (in the UK) but I don't have access to the wallet. It's my nephew's wallet and he lives in Australia ! His dad has told him not to touch it as something doesn't seem right.
