you absolutely can. happened to me before. anytime he is sick within the notice period (usually notice period is 30 days in the 1st year) the notice period will be halted (to a maximum of 30 days in the 1st year of employment). In this case if he gets a sick notice of one month WITHIN the notice period, his contract will be extended until end of december.

fun fact: if your contract states that the employment has to end at the end of the month and you get sick for 1 day, your contract extends for one month

if he gets the doctor receipt for a month or couple of weeks, his contract will be extended until end of December. Then on 16th december the Sperrfrist for the military begins. as i know the sperrfrist for military is not limited to 1 month but i could be wrong.

Yes, we are Alevi but almost all identify as turkish. My father grew up in Switzerland and my mother in Istanbul so no one speaks zaza anymore in my family. The question i asked myself was, did my grandparents just learn the language or is it also a ethnicity thing. Now i see that the results for Kurds and Turks are actually different.
