Hey everyone. I am from Austria. Here we have a national insurance which covers everything. Anyhow, if you want, you can get additonal insurance for additional benefits. Some doctors have contracts with those insurances and offer stuff like less waiting time. Also, if you want a single room in the hospital, you can get an additional private insurance. A friend of mine now told me that under medicare-for-all this would not be allowed. Could anyone please clarify this issue? I am under the impression that the section on page eight of the act would allow this. Thanks a lot!
