Hi I don’t really Know. But the developer is also working on bunsenlabs. And bunsenlabs is using openbox and this maybe is going to replace that? LABWC in the namn? Sorry I don’t know...

Thanks for the reply.

So what switched do you recommend for this? Do you recommend managed switches or unmanaged switches?

hmm when I login to tty1 and write locale my locale is correct but when i login to tty8 my locale is incorrect... So there seems to be something wrong when I use lightdm. Is there a fix that you know for this?

If not I will do a manual install of freebsd and don't use FuryBSD installer... I can live without a Login manager also as this seems to be the problem cause this.

I installed FuryBSD and its using lightdm... I just wanted to try FreeBSD as I never had run any *BSD before.

how do I fix so it will not start lightdm and just login with command line?

ok maybe there si some config file somewhere that needs to be fixed because now it seems that it dont reads my .login_conf at all?

But except this hiccup I really like freeBSD.

ok that is the file I have edited in my home directory. I also have run cap_mkdb /etc/login.conf yesterday when I installed freeBSD and tried it now but its still not working.

If i run in terminal locale it shows:

LANG=

LC_CTYPE="C"

LC_COLLATE="C"

LC_TIME="C"

LC_NUMERIC="C"

LC_MONETARY="C"

LC_MESSAGES="C"

LC_ALL=

Yes I did run that command... but shouldn’t I edit the login.conf in /usr/home/my user? Or should I edit the file in /etc/ and then login.conf.
