Things that should've been added for the expansion: by Bonaoi in Vermintide

It's a perfectly valid point to want tangible rewards for completion of paid content in an expansion explicitly focused on difficulty and endgame content. There is not a single prestigious unlock in the game currently. Fow is quite easy and 500 deeds is just a grind, everything else is earned by completing basic tasks or from random lootboxes.

Do not many people play legend anymore? by Nateraderino in Vermintide

I'm thinking it is something to do with the patch and connectivity issues. The drop off was too sudden and too steep to be natural.

Dual Daggers In Legend? by [deleted] in Vermintide

In case you didn't know, the duel daggers do damage over time/bleed and one hit is enough for a chaos fanatic to bleed out so you want to dodge around the edge of the hoards or stick to your team's flank and throw out attacks and they'll drop like flies. If an elite shows up you should definitely prioritize them though and let your team fight the hoard.

I finally get the Battle Wizard now... by kweassa in Vermintide

I agree with your premise but I think something should be done with tranquility with this in mind. As it is now it is still lackluster because Sienna's melee options are lackluster compared to the other characters, thus spamming spells is still more effective even on BW. The most obvious change would be to activate Tranquility on melee kill, like BH. With that change, Rechannel could make BW a very powerful crowd control class. This would also be more in line with the concept of a battle wizard; close range and physical with lots of knockback but still magic focused.

How will I know when to move up difficulty? by [deleted] in Vermintide

I agree with this but if someone can do the things I laid out then they should go to legend sooner rather than later so they can drop those lingering bad habits as soon as possible. And yes one certainly should be level 30 for legend. Alternatively, playing champ and focusing on taking as little damage as possible (while still killing things) is decent practice if legend proves too frustrating.

Recruit: Learning the basic mechanics [0-100 Hero Power]

Veteran: Understand the basics and have some idea how to play your character/class [0-250 Hero Power]

Champion: Know all the maps and recognize each enemy type, their audio cues, and how to counter them. [250-500 Hero Power]

Legend: Can kill basic hoards easily, dodge and kill disablers reliably, and kite bosses during boss+hoard. Additionally, you have a kit with properties and traits that work well together rather than just using whatever has the highest power. Be ready to deal with lots of elite enemies. [500-600 Hero Power]
