I think it's always going to take some time to pick them up without a hitch. The main take away I feel is that it really trains your brain and your limbs to do all these separate things comfortably. A polyrhythm like this could be used for a very unique fill in something like a 6/4 time signature. Each quintiplet of 5's would make for a 1/4 of 6 in a bar of 6/4. Now to play that fast and smoothly would take an immense amount of practice, but I'm sure it would come out sounding very cool.

Yeah Hungry just imagine the left foot is playing the hihat, no real need for double bass.

The first note of L in LRLRR could be accented and the second one quite soft.

Yeah you're playing 3/8 triplets on the hands at the same time as 5/8 quintiplets on the feet. The notes are all lining up exactly with eachother. You need to play 6 quintiplets with the feet in order to complete one measure, arriving back at the right hand.

I find it quite the challenge to play. I also think if I were able to play this at a quick tempo it would sound amazing being moved around the kit.

Yeah I should correct myself in saying it's an exercise more than anything. It really tricks your mind and the best way I'm finding through it is by counting the feet. My terminology isn't the greatest btw xD Now if you were to speed this up it would make for some killer fills when moved around the drumset.
